1. ELIGIBILITY

To rent a vehicle from us, you must:

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Hold a valid driving license for at least 1 year
• Provide a valid passport or national ID
• Have a valid email address and phone number
• Provide proof of return travel (for tourists)

2. BOOKING & PAYMENT

2.1 Booking Requirements

• Advance Booking: Minimum 48 hours advance booking required
• Pre-booking Fee: 10% of total rental amount is required to confirm booking
• Full Payment: Remaining balance must be paid PRIOR TO PICKUP
• Quote Validity: Quotes are valid for 7 days from issue date

2.2 Payment Methods

• Credit/Debit Card (Online)
• Bank Transfer
• Cash (at pickup location)

3. RENTAL PERIOD

3.1 Minimum Rental Period (Seasonal)

3.2 Maximum Rental Period

• Standard Period: 30 days (extendable with approval)
• Peak Season: 30 days (subject to availability)

3.3 Grace Period

• 30 minutes for pickup/return
• Late Return: Additional day charged if returned more than 2 hours late

4. MILEAGE & FUEL

• Mileage: Unlimited mileage on most rentals (unless specified)
• Fuel Policy: Vehicle provided with full tank, must be returned full
• Fuel Charges: If not returned full, refueling charge applies at 2x market rate

5. INSURANCE & COVERAGE

5.1 Basic Coverage (Included)

• Third Party Liability
• Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) with excess
• Theft Protection with excess

5.2 Optional Coverage (Additional Fee)

• Super CDW - Reduces excess to zero
• Personal Accident Insurance
• Roadside Assistance Plus

5.3 Excess/Damage Fees (Mandatory)

5.4 Not Covered

• Damage caused by negligence or violation of terms
• Damage to tires, windshield, and undercarriage (unless Super CDW purchased)
• Loss of keys or documents
• Fuel contamination
• Driving under influence of alcohol/drugs

6. DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES

As the renter, you agree to:

• Not drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Not use the vehicle for illegal activities
• Not sublet or use the vehicle for ride-sharing services
• Not drive outside Mauritius without written permission
• Not tow or push anything with the vehicle
• Report any accidents or damage immediately
• Keep all doors locked when unattended
• Not smoke in the vehicle

7. ADDITIONAL DRIVERS

• Additional drivers must meet same requirements as primary renter
• Additional driver fee: €10/day
• Must be registered at time of pickup
• Maximum 2 additional drivers per rental

8. VEHICLE CONDITION

• Vehicle must be inspected at pickup and return
• Any existing damage must be documented before departure
• Customer is responsible for any new damage during rental period
• Cleaning fee applies if vehicle returned excessively dirty

9. BREAKDOWN & ACCIDENTS

9.1 Breakdown

• Contact our 24/7 roadside assistance immediately
• Do not attempt repairs without authorization
• Replacement vehicle provided if breakdown is not customer's fault

9.2 Accidents

• Call police and obtain accident report
• Contact us within 24 hours
• Do not admit liability
• Exchange information with other parties
• Take photos of damage and scene

10. TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS

• Customer is responsible for all traffic fines and penalties
• Administrative fee of €25 per violation applies
• Fines will be charged to customer's card on file

11. MODIFICATIONS TO BOOKING

• Date Changes: Subject to availability, must be requested 24 hours in advance
• Vehicle Changes: Upgrade/downgrade subject to availability and price difference
• Extension: Must be approved in advance, additional charges apply
• Location Changes: One-way fee may apply for different return location

12. FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, acts of government, pandemics, strikes, or supply shortages.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

• Our liability is limited to the rental amount paid
• We are not responsible for consequential damages
• We are not liable for vehicle unavailability due to mechanical issues
• Replacement vehicle of similar class will be provided if original vehicle unavailable

14. PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION

• Customer data is collected and stored securely
• Data is used for booking processing and communication
• Data is not sold to third parties
• Customer has right to access and delete their data

15. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of Mauritius. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Mauritius courts.
